We also have a team that plays in The Buckingham Midweek League. Games are usually played on a Wednesday evening starting at 6.30 pm. We use this team to bring on the younger players of the club. Many make it through to the senior side on a Saturday.
With some very hard fundraising work, together with a very generous grant from The England & Wales Cricket Board, the club managed to purchase the cricket ground in 2012. The club is run by an elected committee. The Chairman is John Bacon and the Secretary is Les Fagg. Due to the close proximity of The Butchers Arms to the ground, the cricket club has it`s HQ in the pub where all committee meetings are held on a monthly basis. The AGM is also held at the pub. There is an AGM on Sunday 2nd February at The Butchers Arms commencing at 8 pm. This is an open meeting which anyone is welcome to attend.
